About Cameron
I’m a former NCAA track & field athlete who spent 6 years competing in the United States collegiate system (2014–2020) on an athletic scholarship. During this time, I competed for Mercer University and Kennesaw State University, racing at a high level in middle- and long-distance events.
My personal bests include:
* 1500m – 4:00
* 3000m – 8:33
* 5000m – 15:22
* 10,000m – 31:54
My results are publicly verifiable through:

After finishing my competitive athletics career and returning to Australia, I transitioned away from being a lean distance runner and completely reshaped my physique.
Through a deep understanding of training principles, I developed into a stronger, more powerful athlete while still maintaining speed, endurance, and overall athleticism.
Currently, I lift over 152.5kg on the bench press and 200kg+ on the deadlift, while still being capable of running 3000m in under 10 minutes and running a 100m of 11.5 seconds. My training now focuses on speed, strength, and athletic performance — not extremes in one direction.
Alongside my athletic background, I’ve also worked in a coaching environment within the US collegiate system:
(concealed information)
My approach to coaching is grounded in structure, purpose, and education. I don’t believe in random workouts or one-size-fits-all programs. Every session should have a clear reason for existing and align with your goals, lifestyle, and recovery capacity.
My aim isn’t just to coach you through workouts — it’s to help you understand how training works, so you can make informed decisions and confidently train for yourself in the long term.

My lessons are built around understanding how and why to train — not just being told what exercises to do.
Training should be structured, specific, and aligned with your goals and lifestyle. Whether your aim is to build muscle, lose weight, get stronger, run faster, or improve endurance, the approach is always personalised and purposeful.
How the coaching works (4 phases)
Phase 1 – Initial consultation
We start with a detailed discussion around:
- Your goals and expectations
- Training history and current ability
- Lifestyle factors (work, recovery, available training days)
The aim is to clearly understand what you want to achieve and what is realistic for you.
Phase 2 – Program design & understanding:
Based on Phase 1, I design a personalised weekly training plan.
During our weekly sessions, we:
- Go through each training day and its purpose
- Discuss why the program is structured the way it is
- Review your performance and adjust as needed
You’re not just following a plan — you’re learning how it works
Phase 3 – Guided independence:
After several weeks, we start shifting responsibility.
- You become more involved in planning your weekly training
- I act more as a guide rather than a direct coach
- We refine decision-making around training load, recovery, and progression
This phase is about building confidence and understanding.
Phase 4 – Long-term independence
By this stage, you understand how to train according to your goals.
- You’re capable of structuring your own training effectively
- Sessions may become periodic check-ins if needed
The long-term goal is for you to be your own coach.
Coaching philosophy
I treat training like a craft. Every session has a purpose, and nothing is random. My aim isn’t to coach you forever, but to give you the knowledge and tools to train confidently for life.

I always wanted to start training, but I didn't know where to start. Cameron helped me not only develop a routine but also helped me understand why I am doing specific workouts.
