When it comes to English, it is crucial you know what texts you are studying inside out; I can help you conquer this as I’ve had to do it. English is very much our own interpretations of texts. Once you have in-depth knowledge of the necessary texts, the next step is to be confident in analysing the texts. Becoming familiar with the author's intentions through the analysis of techniques, context and comparison. Once you know this the rest becomes easy - understanding critiques, linking your writing to the present and forming detailed and structured intellectual pieces of writing. Moving on to politics and a separate matter, I will help you understand government institutions, historical political events and characters - as well as the part many people find tricky which is understanding ideologies. These lessons are for English students between Year 10 and Year 13 and/or for politics students studying their A levels - lessons will run between 45 minutes to an hour
