About Melissa
I have been in the classroom, as both a student and a teacher. It's been a while for both. I've been in the corporate arena for the majority of my career, but that does not mean I'm out of practice. My job was in finance, but I was also in charge of bringing new employees on board, teaching them how my department worked, and the policies and methods we used to achieve our goals. I use humor to keep things light.

I am the type of teacher who breaks down the concepts to their basic ideas. You have a paper on Wordsworth? We'll take one of his poems and go through it line by line. I want you to understand what is being conveyed, and hopefully you can see the beauty in the verses. I am looking to help out high school or college students specifically, but if you are in middle school, we'll take a look. My degree is in Journalism, but my minor is in English.
My lesson plans are on a case by case basis. I need to know what you are having issues with before we can set a plan in motion.
