About Oladeji

I am a very interesting, funny and unique teacher. I have taught students between ages 10 and 18, and have tutored students between ages 5 and 45. Most of my students find me personable, warm, mild-mannered, intelligent, detail-oriented and funny. I have been gifted at math since kindergarten. I studied engineering and math in university and have a bachelor's degree in mathematics. When I tested at the 95th percentile in algebraic reasoning in high school, it came as no surprise, as I was getting an "A" in Algebra 2 at the time, along with my best grades in high school. Throughout school and beyond, test after test have revealed a natural giftedness in all measures of mathematical and analytical ability. I also have some experience in the entertainment industry, as I am very energetic, personable, photogenic, videogenic and hilarious. I'm sure these skills and talents will easily connect well with students and impart significant mathematical knowledge.

About the lesson

Hello! I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics and have been tutoring math since 2002. I also have 95 credits in mechanical engineering. I have 3 years of experience teaching math to students between the 5th and 12 grades. I have tutored students between the elementary and university levels and can tutor up to differential equations. Algebra and calculus are my favorite subjects.

I was tested at the 95th percentile in algebraic reasoning, at the 90th percentile in detail-orientation and above average in computational and verbal ability.
Exceptionally personable and significantly experienced in entertainment, I bring energy, humor and passion to each lesson. Being detail-oriented and verbally gifted means I can quickly identify students' problem areas and eloquently provide explanations.

I am sure to explain, challenge, question students, build on previous knowledge, thoroughly work out new problems, assist and encourage students as they independently solve math problems, and leave them with challenging problems to work on until our next session.

Algebra 1 and 2, college algebra, pre-calculus and calculus 1 are my specialties, however, I can tutor any high school and junior college math class.
