Hello, I’m Bob. I’m a former primary school teacher with over 12 years of classroom experience, based in Whitley Bay in the North East of England. I specialise in Upper Key Stage 2 Maths, English and Science, with extensive experience preparing pupils for Year 6 SATs and supporting a confident transition to secondary school.

Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of learners — from children needing to close gaps and rebuild confidence, to those striving for greater depth and higher attainment. I understand the academic and emotional pressures that can arise in Years 5 and 6, and I create calm, structured sessions where pupils feel supported, challenged and capable.

I believe learning should be fun, interactive, and motivating, so I take the time to understand how each child learns best. Standard rate: £30/hour

5-hour package: £140 (save £10)
