About Eloise
I have a total of 5 years of formal experience with teaching; as a teaching assistant at the undergraduate level where I taught software engineering lessons, and teaching custom STEM lessons to students from 3rd grade through high school as the coordinator of a STEM summer camp for 2 years. I have also extensively tutored friends and peers in subjects of all kinds and find teaching to individuals of all learning styles and backgrounds to be immensely rewarding.

My teaching style is extremely adaptable to your learning needs and heavily self directed! I believe that we learn best when we are given the opportunity to explore our natural curiosity and reach our own conclusions. Math in particular is too often taught as having a singular correct approach and, having struggled with this myself as a student, I have developed an approach that teaches generalized critical thinking skills that allow you to rely on your intuition, regardless of the nature of the problem you face.
