About Archie
I am a fourth year Maths Masters student and I have achieved a first at the end of each year. I have been tutoring since I was about thirteen starting with my brothers and friends from school. I always found the process really gratifying and have often been complimented on my ability to explain complicated concepts simply.

Typically, a lesson will last an hour and we will focus on a specific topic, starting with a discussion and then looking at problems in order to identify gaps in understanding. Then we will discuss again and try to clarify these gaps and then repeat with more problems. Often I am unable to find problems that meet the specific needs of the student and by the end of the session I find I am writing personalised problems to really test their understanding.
