I am a very good listener. This is important to me in order to fully understand what the students' expectations are.
I am patient and I don't take myself very seriously so I try to make my sessions as fun as possible because I think that learning a language should not be a chore!

My approach to tutoring is first to listen to my students' needs and objectives, after which I can produce tailor-made lessons, adapted to their goals, their preferences, and their learning styles. Communication is to me the most important thing when learning a language and my sessions highly reflect this with a choice of activities promoting exchanges.
I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over 20 years now and for over 10 years in French.
I have a TEFL and I also qualified as a teacher of French as a foreign language in the UK.
I welcome both young people and adults as I find everyone's objective extremely interesting.
