About Alexandria
Hello! My name is Alexandria.
I am eighteen years of age and will be a freshman in college during the fall. However, that does not tell you much on how well I do regarding English comprehension.
This is my first time offering paid tutoring to someone. I've always helped my friends and my classmates with their English homework for free, not realizing how powerful my knowledge can be and has been to others. I've been put into advanced groups regarding language comprehension my entire life. My larger test scores have shown an overall pattern of advanced understanding in language.
I've learned Spanish on my own time for around 2 years now. I am not quite fluent, nor do I offer Spanish lessons. I say this to show my ability to learn adaptively. I understand more Spanish writing than listening, showing the diverse preferences our individual Wernicke areas have!
I've had a natural understanding of language since childhood. I have always been able to understand the how's and why's to language... How we are able to write our words to clearly encapsulate our main views, how we can train our minds to pick up word patterns, why words come from a particular root, why it is so important to spell correctly and use adequate grammar, and much more. There are many how's and why's to language that some folks may have a harder time understanding than others. That is okay! I'm here to help!
I would like to tutor younger audiences to help those with comprehension struggles understand that it has nothing to do with genetics. Everything we are capable of understanding as human intellects starts with one thing, and that one thing is not natural: It is choice. The choice to push yourself AGAINST your own nature to learn things you initially thought to be unachievable for yourself. I'd like to help people understand that the only time we are truly unable to do something is if we've accepted what is without incorporating what we'd like to see it further become.

- I offer proofreading, writing support, spelling support, as well as reading and speaking comprehension support
- I will need to see your child's initial understanding of their school work in order to understand their individual level of reading, writing, and speaking comprehension
- How I help is completely based on your child's needs, not a predetermined routine!
- Lessons can range in time, but may only go up to 60 minutes at once. Anything past 60 minutes passes the natural marker for memory retention, meaning your child may struggle to retain information after 60 minutes at a time.
- I'm able to teach through virtual meetings, FaceTime, texting, or even just proofreading work.
