I am a Maths PhD student at Cardiff University. The PhD life allowed me to help many students through tutorials and Maths support. I also have many years of experience in private tutoring. I have a master degree in Applied Mathematics and currently I am working on fluid dynamics. My approach is very friendly and I try to understand what the student really needs so that we use the time together wisely and efficiently. I really enjoy teaching and I see this also as an opportunity to gain more experience. It is very satisfying for me to see students becoming confident. If you have any question feel free to ask me, I look forward to meeting you!

Perfect! Martina was fantastic at breaking down work that I was struggling with into bite sized chunks, which made it much more accessible to me! She was also able to introduce me to new methods/ approaches that worked better for me than those that were taught in lectures!
With Martina's help I successfully passed my optional maths module which I undertook in the first year of my degree.
Would highly recommend! Thanks!See more reviews
