About Moeed
Hi! I’m a recent sixth-form student who achieved A grades in A-Level Biology and Chemistry. I’ve previously mentored GCSE Biology students and really enjoy helping students understand difficult topics and become more confident in their abilities. Having recently gone through GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and want to help them achieve their goals.

I tailor question difficulty and my explanation, using diagrams and frequently asking questions, to suit each student's needs. This helps identify and improve individual weaknesses, resulting in enhanced confidence and grades. I utilise open body language complemented by my adaptive tone, which builds a healthy learning environment and rapport with pupils, giving them confidence to ask questions and clarify misconceptions. As a tutor who achieved an A in A-level biology and chemistry, alongside grades 9, 8 and 8 at GCSE in biology, chemistry and maths, respectively, I understand that knowledge isn't the only factor needed to achieve these top marks. Therefore, I meticulously refine my students' exam technique and wording to match the mark schemes of their exam board, maximising their chances of success.
