About Polly
I'm studying Philosophy at the university of Sheffield, so I'm used to learning and it's not long since I was at school myself. I love teaching, getting to know students and helping them learn.
In my own GCSEs, I achieved all grades 8 and 9, so you can trust me to get you through your exams. As a philosophy student, I'm great at explaining things clearly and listening to what you find find difficult.
I love travelling, listening to music, board games with friends and playing the trumpet! I can't wait to meet you and help you get some homework done :-D

I'm here to help you or your child tackle difficult questions or simply find the motivation to study! I'll be a friendly face each week, keen to get to know you and help you learn.
We can work on whatever homework you need a hand with, or I'll help with whatever you're finding challenging at school. If you're preparing for exams, we'll work on exam technique and I'll help you understand what the examiners are looking for. Whether you need a helpful all-round teacher or just a study buddy, I'm here for you.
I'm experienced with neurodiversity, with lots of autistic and ADHD people in my own life, so I can cater lessons to special needs and go at your pace. My lessons are also an LGBTQ+ friendly space.
Whatever we're studying, I'll try and find the interesting side and we'll have some fun together whilst learning.
School can be difficult, but let's get through it together! :-)
