About Shakira
Hello! I’m Shakira Banu Shaffi, an MSc Data Science student at Oxford Brookes University with a deep love for learning and sharing knowledge. Teaching, to me, isn’t just about lessons, it’s about lighting a spark in someone’s mind and watching it grow. I’ve always believed that every student learns differently, so I teach in ways that make learning feel alive through stories, visuals, and real-world examples that make even the hardest topics simple and exciting. I want to teach because I’ve seen how the right guidance can change someone’s confidence, not just their grades. My goal is to help students believe in themselves, discover their potential, and find joy in learning. When my students succeed not only in studies but in believing “I can do it” — that’s my greatest reward.
