About Ayomide Oluwapelumi
One of the things I have found very valuable in my journey so far is the impact of teachers who listen, offer help, and match their teaching style to my learning style. I struggled with Math in Primary and Secondary school because I felt the subject was too abstract. However, in my 5 years of experience as a project manager and data analyst, I have discovered the awesomeness of mathematics and I bring this excitement to the classroom. Who says learning Math has to be boring? I take my time to curate resources like interactive presentation slides (I can be obsessed with designing slides), quizzes, worksheets, and games. I am interested in how you love to learn and I use that to teach while we work together to achieve our goals. For me, teaching is about you and what works best for you.

I use a combination of interactive quizzes, videos, worksheets, games, slides and open conversations to help learners within the ages of 9 and 14 (Primary 4 - JSS 3) learn and enjoy Maths. A typical session is 60-90 minutes and highly engaging with periodic assessments and reports to measure student progress and help cover skills gap.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and Family relations and keen interest in helping young people develop holistically through the application of Maths in solving real life problems.
I can provide support for students preparing for qualifying exams like Common Entrance and the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in Nigeria.
