About Elizabeth
Hello, students! I am a twenty-two-year-old female student at the University of West Florida. I am currently studying English and American Politics; I would like to become a Law School Professor due to my love of teaching and my passion for history. I have been tutoring children since I was in middle school, which is what sparked my enthusiasm for education. Some of the best role models I've had in my life have been teachers, whom I will never forget. The lessons that a great teacher shares with you may follow you throughout your life, and guide you far beyond your school journey. As your teacher, I will strive to enrich your learning experience so that you feel confident in your studies and excited to learn in the future.

I am currently in my third year of undergraduate studies at the University of West Florida. I began college as a biomedicine major in hopes of becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon, until my passion for English/History drove me to pursue Bankruptcy Law so I may become a Law School professor. I have been tutoring my little brother and his friends since I was in middle school; inspiring children to respect the learning process and enjoy education is my passion. The role models I hold most dear to my heart have been my teachers due to their commitment to assisting us on our paths to success. "The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. Review the basics of the topic. 2. Locate the point of confusion. 3. Have the student explain the misconception. 4. Guide them to the correct answer. 5. Practice. 6. Quiz. I am mostly qualified to teach children ages 7-12 and subjects pertaining to English, such as grammar, writing, and reading, and American History/Civics/Government. Although I am an English major, I am a part of a Pre-Law program, so I study a mix of English and American Politics.

Elizabeth has been tutoring my son, Andrew, since 2013 in elementary level math and spanish. She is very understanding with students who have a hard time grasping concepts. Andrew appreciates her patience with him and loves her positive attitude no matter how long it takes him to understand. She does a great job at guiding him through the steps of a math word problem and she has without a doubt been a huge contributor to his grade improvement.
