About Miles
My first experience tutoring ESL was during my time as an exchange student in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I volunteered with the campus' language exchange club to help fellow university students improve their English.
At my university in America, I worked writing for the school's newspaper and interned with a major travel magazine as a writer. I also had a part-time job grading English essay assignments at our local high school.
Now that I work full time as an ESL teacher in Thailand, I have been with my current school for over 2 years, and I am known for helping shy students bloom in their English confidence. My approach focuses on having fun with the language and removing fear of mistakes. No one will ever be perfect on the first try.

I teach through natural conversations to help you become more fluent in your everyday life.
A typical lesson will involve communicating with each other about our day at the simplest level, to communicating about harder subjects or news based on your skill level.
As your tutor I want to make you comfortable in the language and comfortable to make mistakes so you can learn from them.
