About Betty
I love sharing my passion for learning with people. I have tutored in numerous subjects for the last 10 years working with people ages 8 to 22. I have also worked in a middle school as a paraprofessional, helping specifically students in the special education department.
I want my students to be successful and I want them to enjoy what they are learning. I struggled in school when I was younger but a tutor helped me become successful while also showing me that education can be fun. I strive to do the same for my own students no matter their abilities or subject area of help.

I approach tutoring by first understanding what my student's strengths and weaknesses are. Once those are assessed, I can create a lesson plan that will allow them to learn and retain the topic using their own strengths in order to be successful. These will be different and specific for every student because not every student learns the same.
My lessons are for people who need assistance, patience, and additional attention outside of the classroom to be successful.
