About Helen
I have been teaching Maths in a secondary school in Bristol for the last 3 years. Prior to training as a teacher, I tutored Maths. Students who I tutored came out with a GCSE grade of A, when originally predicted a C. I really enjoy tutoring and seeing the progress students make.

My teaching method varies, depending on the goals of the tutee and their parent(s)/ caregiver. If it was a GCSE student, we would go through a past paper to find the gaps in their knowledge. I would then work with the student to fill this gap, with frequent revisiting of this topic. If it was a younger student, I would look at key topics and see what work they needed to do on these
