About Matilda
Patient, encouraging and creative - my approach centers around making learning easy and enjoyable. I used to find exams and essays difficult, but now I have the experience to show you how to ace them! I achieved 2 A*'s and 1 A at A Level in English Literature, History and Classical Civilisation, and now I am studying Persian Language, Literature and History at Oxford. Other than my studies, I am passionate about sharing my love of language, reading and writing. My free time is spent out in the fields!

My approach to tutoring very much depends on you! Whilst our lessons will always be engaging and informative, I will tailor the classes depending on your interests and needs. Lessons can range from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, and are offered to students between the ages of 7 and 18.
I already teach several students and have experience tutoring in a number of humanities subjects. Our lessons can also focus on broader exam skills like revision, planning and writing essays, as well as tackling difficult questions. We can go into greater depth once we meet!
