About Shawn

16 years of teaching experience as an Auslan tutor and Auslan teacher in schools, universities, TAFEs/colleges, organisations, community groups, and families'/clients' homes. I taught and mentored more than 1,000 hearing students in my life experience as a Deaf Auslan signing person. Most of my successful students become disability support workers, interpreters, and Deaf community allies or professionals with Deafness Awareness skills and basic Auslan skills for communicating with their Deaf Auslan clients. Currently doing the TAE22 upgrade study at TAFE QLD.

Details

Cancellations need to be given at least 48 hours including weekends to the Auslan teacher for rescheduling lessons. Minimum 1-hour booking for remote and face-to-face lessons. If you cancel under 48 hours, you will be charged a one-hour full cancellation fee ($75/hour for onsite lessons; $75/hour for remote lessons) because it will be unlikely to replace the work cancelled at short notice. Online lessons are different from face-to-face lessons. 1-hour (webcam) lessons are available.
