About Ashley
Hi, there! My name is Ashley and I live in the United States. I am an English native speaker and TEFL certified teacher who can't wait to teach you everything you need to know to be speaking English like a natural! I am very patient and enjoy sharing the wonderful world of foreign languages. Together, we will be able to conquer the hardships of the English language and move at a pace that is entirely comfortable to you. I am funny and patient as well as knowledgeable in grammar and writing. We will have a lot of fun together as well as working on confidence! We will have a wonderful time together going over the fundamentals of English, verb conjugations, vocabulary study, pronunciations, and conversational English! *I can greatly cater to Japanese students with my current knowledge!
Interested in Japanese lessons? I offer beginner-upper beginner Japanese lessons, personally customizable to you! I am fluent in Hiragana, Katakana, with 90+ Kanji under my belt so far. The very first time we meet via webcam, we will do a proficiency test and figure out where you are in your Japanese language journey. Then, I can customize the lesson specifically for your needs! My teaching methods are personalized per student's knowledge of the English language. We begin our lesson with evaluating the student's skill level and proceeding with a lesson that is equivalent to their understanding. Once the student has mastered a lesson, new lessons will be introduced per the pace of the student's milestones achieved.
