Fundamentals of geothermal energy;- renewable energy for sustainable development and food security

Prof. Chandrasekharam is an experienced teacher. He has 40 years of experience as a teacher at IIT Bombay. Students will definitely get benefited through his teaching.

I have taken a course under Dr Chandrasekharam Dornadula and he is one of the most efficient teachers I have had till now. He has a unique way of teaching and he does not make students to mug up entire books, but gives an overall knowledge of the subject and develops an interest in students to learn more. His knowledge of the subject is very vast and deep, which is very inspiring. Taking one class of his on Geology, attending his classes everyday and being attentive was enough, we did have to refer to any other material. Listening to classes I developed interest in earth sciences. He makes sure students not only learn the concepts but have practical knowledge. He explains how the concepts of subjects can be applied in the real world. Taking his course I lot learned a lot and could relate and understand a lot of geological processes i did not know before. He is one of the best teachers I have had and I plan on taking more courses and learning from him.

I have taken geology and geothermics course taught by prof Chandrashekhar.
Classess were highly interactive, he asks numerous questions and makes sure that every student is on the track. He always starts with the basics, clearing the fundamentals in details and then taking it to the next level. It was very exciting to attend his lectures as he gives us vast number of real life example, projects etc. Assignments were the most engrossing parts of his course, they are always application oriented, which requires in depth understanding of the subject.
In short, his teachings are student centric & percent and brings curiosity in every student.

He is an absolutely super great teacher. He can explain very complicated things in a simple manner. Over the years, he has gained skills and huge knowledge on renewable energy domain, and one of the top scientists in renewable energy area

He is a very good person professionally as well as personally. He is an ocean of knowledge and I am happy to get some knowledge as I was a student of him. He can be trusted blindly on teaching to get a good knowledge and experience in the area.

He is very sincere and hard working and dedicated and has ability to transfer/impart fundamental subject knowledge to students . He know how to create interest among them to understand and show interesting into the subject.
