I am a passionate Mathematics educator who believes all students can succeed. I create adaptive, challenging, and engaging lessons. I have 10+ years’ experience in education as a tutor, student teacher, Paraeducator, and Elementary Special Education Teacher. I have piloted the CPM and Eureka curricula.

About the lesson

I believe in helping students make the most of their education. I relate my lessons to my students' interests, hobbies, career aspirations, etc. I want math to be an enjoyable and useful experience. I help students identify their best learning methods and help them progress towards their goals.

Details

I always offer the first tutoring session for free because I want to make sure that the student and I will work well together. The $20/hour is for webcam or local tutoring in my area like a library or coffee shop. I charge $40/hour if I have to travel outside of my area to a library or coffee shop. We can negotiate a rate for multiple students and multiple subjects during a session. I charge these rates because I will cater to your students' needs to learn the material.
