About Emir
Following A levels, I have decided to take a gap year, rejecting the offers I had to study History at Durham, UCL, King's College London and Warwick. I have a long-standing passion for history and want to use the techniques I have developed over the years to help students improve their grades.

-Protest, agitation and parliamentary reform in Britain
My lessons place particular emphasis on teaching exam technique rather than content itself. History courses and exams at both A level and GCSE level are both content heavy and provide substantially less time to answer questions in comparison to subjects like English Literature. Therefore in order to maximise marks, I will teach students how to adequately prepare for exams through revision methods that save time while maximising knowledge recall. As well as this, I will help students understand what they are credited for in the mark schemes and introduce essay structures that ensure all marking criteria are met.
