GCSE Maths tutor: A-level maths and further maths student, predicted A* in both, looking to apply for pure mathematics at Oxford

Houssein is a hard-working and gifted teacher. Having helped me at GCSE level across all subjects, he is organised and has a dynamic approach to teaching which makes learning so much more enjoyable. Most importantly, he is clearly passionate about the subjects he teaches - so it’s hard not to learn to love the subject too. Any student would be lucky to have him.

Houssein is an intelligent and hardworking student, consistently achieving high grades in school. He is able to break down complex problems and understand where you go wrong. His advice is direct and clear, making it easy to progress through things that you struggle with. Houssein is also a kind and sympathetic person, who listens to people intently when they speak, so asking him questions is easy and can be done comfortably.

I have known Houssein for several years now and not once have I ever doubted his academic ability and his skill in sharing his education with others. During GCSE’s i was struggling with grades 3,4,5 and he made it his responsibility to teach me maths and science in order to get my grades up. By the end of his tutoring for me i ended up getting 7’s and 8’s which in the span of a couple months is simply astonishing. He made sure he put me before anything else. On a personal basis Houssein is a hard-working, kind and caring man who will make sure anyone’s needs is met with the suitable approach. I would recommend him a thousand times if i could and i can guarantee if anyone was to select him as a tutor you wouldn’t regret it.

Houssein is a very trustworthy and reliable person. He has a very strong understanding of the subject and so is able to teach and explain any topic effectively. I would highly recommend Houssein as a tutor as he helped me achieve a 9 in GCSE Maths last year.
