About Alexandre
I have 15 years of experience teaching at an architectural school and in the last 7 years I have been teaching creative coding in several capacities. My master's degree was a study of themes for teaching programming in a visual context and now my doctoral studies are focused on pedagogical methodologies and tools for teaching artists and designers.

As a technology and art educator I'm used to a very hands-on approach, usually presenting some background reference from the pioneers of computational art (like Vera Molnár and Frieder Nake), trying to reconstruct and re-interpret seminal works. I'm very enthusiastic about using Free and Open Source Software tools and teaching the Python programming language to any person with some time to try it out.
