About Ryan

I am a violinist, attending Melbourne High School, which is the top high school in Victoria, and I'm classified as a prodigy by my ability based on my rate of extremely rapid improvement.

I've taught students for over 8 years to succeed with this instrument with my secrets for improving experience and skill mastery like a prodigy and I have won many competitions nationally and internationally, achieving past the musically gifted Melbourne High School Community. I have passed the LmusA grade violin grade exam (the highest ranking) with a perfect score as the result and have assisted others in my Chamber Strings, Camerata and Symphony orchestras.

Students that I have taught have achieved extraordinary achievements such as succeeding in their exams, and winning competitions in the local and state scales.

In addition to being a passionate violinist, I also love to work my hardest in all other subjects. Ranging from sports (Nationals Cross Country and Athletics, State Swimming, State Hockey, State Basketball) to academics (succeeding in many national and international competitions such as Maths Olympiad, Science Olympiad and International Chemistry Quiz) to music, I love everything and I also teach a wide variety of subjects too. Just contact me and we can discuss.

Overall, I love to achieve my best and help others do so too.

About the lesson

I teach lessons that are never, ever boring.
Every second of every session is thoroughly thought out to ensure that my students always love what they are learning.

Violin isn't supposed to be stressful to learn. It is a work of art that calms the mind, and this is what l add to my lessons.

I don't add too much homework to overload my students, but I don't add too little for them to not practice important skills.

Lessons usually last around 1 hour long but can be adjusted to students' needs. Get ready for an amazing adventure!

We’ve been very happy with Ryan as a tutor. He is friendly, reliable and takes the time to understand where the student is struggling rather than just going through the content. His explanations are clear and he has helped build both confidence and much stronger understanding. Highly recommend Ryan.

Ryan's proficient teaching skills aren't what make him the amazing tutor he is, it's the passion that burns inside of him and the look of accomplishment he wears when his students succeed. He's more than just a tutor, more than just marks.
