About Raifa
I am a second year student at the University of Toronto studying geographical information systems. I finished Grade 12 Advanced Functions and Calculus with 90+ averages, and have an excellent grasp of algebraic skills and formulas. I have experience helping grades 9 and 10 with math in my high school's after-school math help, so I have a good idea of the different struggles students may face.

I use an active learning style to help students grasp a better understanding of why we take certain steps and strategies. During the majority of our session, we will troubleshoot any questions and concerns to get a sense of what needs improving. I am very considerate of people's struggles, as I most likely have had the same ones in the past, which makes me easy to communicate with.
