About Benedict
I am a sustainability professional who has tutored people of all ages over a number of years, from helping young students achieve top grades to mentoring graduates through their degrees and into the working world. I hold a 1st class Geography degree from the University of Exeter and an MSc (Distinction) in Climate Change from King’s College London, where I won Best Thesis Award.

My teaching method is based around understanding. I believe that in order to learn you must first understand, and therefore I aim for my tutees to gain a solid understanding of their subject before learning detail. I help students get to grips with key concepts, before working on and learning subject matter topic by topic.
With mentoring, I believe in the transformative power of guidance, especially during formative university years. By sharing my experiences, learnings and insights, I aim to inspire students, guide them in making informed career decisions and helping them navigate the complexities of the corporate world.

Benedict has been fantastic at helping my son (who has ADHD) in his final year of A-levels. Benedict is patient with him, while still able to get him on track when needed, so they really get through a lot of work in each session. Benedict is also extremely organised in responding, booking sessions, and current knowledge of all exam boards . My son (and I) are feeling a lot more confident about his upcoming mocks than two months ago. I’d highly recommend Benedict to anyone worried about Geography!
Benedict is a fantastic tutor who really helped improve my understanding of Geography and gave me a lot of confidence in a subject I wasn’t very keen on initially.
