About Chris
I am a very experienced and enthusiastic Geography teacher who has taught in a leading co-educational independent school for more than twenty years. I have also tutored privately for ten years and am therefore very experienced at delivering one-to-one lessons, tailoring my style to fit the needs of individual students. I am able to tutor in both Physical and Human Geography up to A-Level and International Baccalaureate. I am an examiner for the AQA exam board at GCSE and therefore have a very clear understanding of the exam technique required to succeed at this level. I pride myself on being a very well organised and well resourced tutor who has very good subject knowledge and a track record of students achieving excellent exam results. Chris is a very experienced teacher of A-Level, GCSE and IB Geography. In the time I have worked with him he has achieved excellent results at all three of those levels, and has planned schemes of work to meet the demands of the new specifications.
Chris works well on an individual level with students and I would wholeheartedly recommend him as a Geography Tutor.I have worked as a colleague of Mr Long for 19 years. He is the ultimate professional and i have always found him to be supportive and a colleague on whom you can totally rely.
Mr Long leads hi house by example and he has a massive input in the school's extracurricular provision.
