About Amy
After achieving a grade 9 in all sciences at GCSE level, and an A in both biology and chemistry at A level, I am now continuing my passion for science and languages at university, studying neuroscience and French at Manchester. I have helped tutor my siblings and their friends at GCSE level, boosting them from grade 5s to 9s, and would love the chance to help you do the same, in a fun and adaptable learning environment.

Whether it's 30 minutes or 2 hours, I aim to produce engaging lessons that encourage each student to develop a love of learning! I understand that everyone has their own learning style, and aim to adapt my way of teaching to best fit each pupil, whether that's finding acronyms to help memorise tricky content, or drawing things out to explain difficult concepts. I can also employ the techniques that worked for me in order to achieve my grades in GCSE and A level, but most importantly I believe in creating curated learning plans for each student to help them most efficiently achieve the grades they deserve!
