I am the kind of teacher who ask questions from a student not just to test their abilities, but also to learn from them. By learning from them through asking questions, I will adjust my teaching style that suits the student. For example, English speaking in extemporaneous speech is different from speaking in a casual way with your friends; or I make adjustments as to the student's personality like dealing with introverts, ambiverts and extroverts. Context is everything. But before speaking, one has to write as a form of practicing English, as a preparation in any situation. If a student wants casual, so my language should be casual, etc. So context-dependent is my approach.
