I tutor students one on one based on individual needs. We first discuss the areas they need assistance on, either the entire syllabus or specific topics. Based on the agreement, the client can provide the class material they want or prepare my own content.
After assessing their knowledge level, I will explain every concept in a build-up manner to keep the student on track. The teaching will be designed to have the student understand the WHY part of every concept. During a session, we will have practice questions as a way of checking progress. All practice questions will be exam types from the past question papers.
The student will be given a few minutes to attempt the practice question(s). Based on their answer, the tutor will explain easy methods to tackle the question and the main concept. There will always be homework questions to discuss first before the next session as a way of recap.
We will do a lot of past exam paper practice to get the student used to the type of questioning in an exam.
