About Jashandeep
I began tutoring students when I was in high school, having accumulated over 100 hours teaching math and English. My desire for teaching translated over to college, where I was a Teacher's Assistant for an introductory Neuroscience course and helped students succeed by creating specialized review slides along with hosting office hours and review sessions. In regards to my legitimacy, I am a first-generation low-income honors graduate from Johns Hopkins University, where I received a full ride through the Bill and Melinda Gates Scholarship. My unique background from an immigrant family and as a non-native English speaker has exposed me to the struggles and challenges of learning different concepts and has ultimately prepared me to learn and teach others to learn in creative and successful ways.

What sets me as a unique tutor is that I adapt to the individual's learning style in order to best help them learn. I will have a general lesson plan but am also open to being flexible and shaping the plan to best suite the individual's goals. I am patient and am willing to always learn new techniques to better help present the material. I can teach lessons for high school and college-level courses.
