About Anna
Not only was I a calculus tutor for almost 2 years at Lehigh, but I graduated in 2021 and have been working in finance for 3.5 years since then (2 years of investment banking, and then 1.5 years of business development at a multi-strategy hedge fund). I am currently sitting out a non-compete but have signed to join a new firm in January 2026, so I have incredible flexibility in the interim. I love working with kids and people of all ages, and I think teaching is an incredibly fulfilling position that I enjoy doing.

I can customize my approach depending on the student, but regardless, my technique allows me to identify where the student has gaps in their understanding by having them walk me through their knowledge of the subject matter.
Once the gaps are identified, my method prioritizes understanding first, repetition second. I want to make sure to avoid just plain memorization, so that the student can apply what they now “understand” in the long term and to solve a variety of problems.
