About Leah
I have been teaching, tutoring, and nannying (homework help) for over 10 years. I have worked with all ages, from pre-K through high school. I have taught students with multiple linguistic backgrounds, including bilingual learners, Spanish speakers, and students with other linguistic backgrounds including Hindi, German, Tagalog, French, and Russian. I work mostly in individual and small groups, which allows for stronger relationship building in order to provide personalized instruction.

I aim to meet my students where they are in their learning - whether that is revisiting literacy basics or pushing them to read and write more complex works. I can do shared reading and writing, independent writing prompts, basic literacy skills, and a combination of all as basic skills can be reviewed as a foundation for more complex work like reading and writing.
