About Erica
I have taught math for the past 3 years, and have my license in 6-8 grade math. I spent a year co-teaching for 6th and 8th grade math, and have taught 7th grade math the past couple of years. I have recently earned a top 5% growth award, which means my students from last year were in the top 5% students who grew in math nationally! I love teaching math because I love taking what is seemingly complicated and breaking it down for anyone to understand. I am confident in my students and I love leading with encouragement!

A lot of people are intimidated by math, or hate it (like me when I was in middle school, but all they need is for someone to explain it to them in a way where they can understand. Math is only a skill that ANYONE can get good at. Just like with any other skill, you can get better and better at by practice and perseverance! You’re not in this alone!
