About Tebello
I am a graduate of Stanford University, where I completed a double major in Economics and Public Policy (with Honours in Development, Democracy and the Rule of Law). I also completed minors in Creative Writing and African Studies. Following my undergraduate degree, I completed a Master of Public Policy at the University of Oxford and worked as a researcher at the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford, before moving to London to work as a consultant. I am interested in politics, economics and have a particular interest in migrant literature. I have a lot of experience as a college admissions coach, and worked for Stanford Summer Institutes for a few years as an undergraduate, focusing on expository and creative writing. In my spare time I continue to write creatively as part of a writing group in Southeast London. My recent creative work has been shortlisted for an African Writer's Prize.

I have experience teaching students who are interested in strengthening their writing and communicating better in various contexts. I studied Economics and Public Policy in undergrad, and completed a minor in Creative writing and got admitted to the top creative writing programmes in the US and the UK. I bring a love for writing, as well as vast experience helping students improve their writing for essays in school, applications to jobs and undergraduate and graduate programmes, as well as creative writing projects of all kinds. I have worked with middle school students and students drafting PhD proposals and typically spend 45 mins to an hour on lessons.
