Sophie ran a drama project in the school I work at in Halton. She was punctual, conscientious, organised and brimming with energy. Her planning was meticulous, creative , inclusive and flexible. Sophie worked with a group of 12 hand-picked pupils who had either experienced online bullying or coercion . Between the 12 group members, some had school attendance issues, some were disengaged with learning,some were experiencing confidence issues due to negative online experiences. The project addressed online bullying, peer pressure and the impact of social media and online advertising on young people's choices and self image.
Sophie facilitated discussion , role play activities and incorporated dance into a final exciting performance in which all group members played a part and where the children's ideas had been incorporated. The children loved participating in Sophies workshops and never stop talking about her project . Class teachers have commented on the improved classroom participation of several of the children and the attendance and attitude of one particular child have improved significantly. I can highly recommend Sophie as an acting coach and trustworthy tutor.

Sophie worked with our theatre group Company of Friends - 6 actors with varying learning 'disabilities' who love performing. Her approach was warm and caring but also very disciplined and well thought out. She worked collaboratively with her own peers and with the Company, taking them through script, storylining, staging and choreography. Company of Friends loved being involved and warmed to Sophie's direct personality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as someone to trust both personally and professionally.
