I work with a range of ESL students and native English speakers. In a typical lesson, we will begin with one or two exercises and then move on to whatever projects are needing to be addressed for the student's real-life goals and activities. Sometimes this looks like assisting with homework from grade school, but conversely could consist of proofreading a PowerPoint presentation for a business professional to strengthen the verbal delivery of their content. For classes, we will work at a pace that is comfortable and tailored to YOU in a no-pressure dynamic, prioritizing the areas that will have the biggest positive impact on your writing, reading, and language proficiency (both comprehension and spoken). As your instructor, my gift is that I demystify the rules of grammar and language into digestible concepts that previously felt abstract. I'm passionate about meeting people where they are and elevating the unique way their minds process information, which is key to understanding your learning style. Through repetition and recognition, we will upgrade your spoken language and writing skills.
