About Owen
My name is Owen Boyle, and I am currently a 7th grade math teacher. I have taught for 5 years, and have experience working with students from grades K-8. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's in Education, and am pursuing my second Master's degree in School Counseling focused on high school counseling. I love teaching and working with students, seeing them grow, and helping them overcome the challenges they face. I believe that with the right support, all students can achieve great things!

I love engaging my students by making learning (especially math) fun and interactive! We learn best from our mistakes, and they are all a part of the learning process through practice. I love building relationships with those I teach and tutor, and believe that the skills learned can transfer into every other part of our lives! I have a lot of experience teaching/tutoring math as a teacher from 3rd grade through 8th, and even high schoolers as well. I can teach elementary school math, middle school math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra. A typical lesson would include a warmup/check-in, followed by a short mini lesson, practice from the lesson, and ends with demonstration of learning!
