About Dermot
I’m a Computer Science graduate from the University of Sheffield with a strong academic background in Maths and Computer Science. At A-Level, I studied Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science, and Physics which gave me a solid understanding of both mathematical theory and problem-solving. I have experience tutoring students taking their GCSEs and A-Levels, including tutoring while completing my own A-Levels, which helps me relate to students and explain concepts in a clear, easy way. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students can build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and improve their exam performance.

For exam-focused students, I place strong emphasis on exam technique, common mistakes, and how to pick up full marks. Lessons are interactive and paced to suit the student, with regular check-ins to make sure concepts are fully understood before moving on.
