About Tristan
Hi! My name is Tristan Baird and I recently graduated from the University of Virginia with a Masters in Statistics. While at UVA, I Was a Teaching Assistant for several courses, tutored as an instructor at the math learning center, and was also a private tutor. I currently work at a local Mathnasium and will begin work as a full time economic consultant this fall.

I tailor my lessons to meet individual student’s needs. As I tutor mainly in math, I believe the best way to improve skills and ability is practice. I’ll usually begin by explaining a concept, then create problems for students to solve based on their current math ability.
