About Mahtoska
Throughout my time at the University of Washington, much of my mathematical learning was through collaboration and conversation with fellow students. I found that the best way to learn, was to teach! I am very passionate about mathematics, I find it beautiful and fun! I wish to help others learn their math subjects that they may have struggles with. I graduated with a 3.7 overall GPA and earned multiple Dean's lists.

My approach to the lessons starts with identifying what concepts/problems the student may be struggling with. I have ways to describe mathematical concepts in different ways for a more tailored session. When applicable, I will use examples of the concept in question to deepen the learning. I tend to utilize a conversational style of communication while implementing the appropriate amount of rigor required for the difficulty level of the subject.
