About ISA
I finished my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer in Davenport, Iowa. I practiced in Panama City Fl. over 20 years, I am tutoring now which allows me to tutor and help with my special needs child. I tutor with Varsity Tutors; Recently, I have been working with 8th graders in taking the HSPT. Many parents want their children to go to a private high school so there is great need for the tutoring of the HSPT. I currently tutor RNs in the science classes and medications.

My main focus with a student is to find the specific area they are having with the class. We will start 1. with the lecture notes: making sure they are clear and correct. 2. Create the best method to understand/memorize the material. 3. Work on Test taking Skills. 4. We will arrange a schedule so the student is organized with studying for the class and should have personal time likewise. 5. I will have questions on a quiz and we will discuss the answers and why they made that choice. 6. The students that have test anxiety we will work on the methods in reducing test anxiety so the student will have a better outcome on taking exams.
