About Carolyne
I am as much a friend and cheerleader as I am an instructor for my students. Forming personal, yet professional, connections, I can more effectively motivate them to succeed. I will learn my students' communication styles and connect with them on my students' terms. I allow natural curiosity to grow. I pay close attention to what my students already know. I ask where my students are having a hard time. We will work together to set up both major and minor goals that can be achieved in a reasonable amount of time. I track my students' progress and chart this over time. Each session focuses on a specific goal. I provide opportunities for my students to succeed. Breaks are important. I adapt to my students' needs and cater my tutoring style to the students' learning styles.
