About Sabrina

I achieved 78% on my research project for my Masters. I have always achieved high marks with all my essays. I have also helped multiple students achieve high marks with their essays and dissertations too. I have transferable skills that can allow me to take my skills and use them to help others within all subjects.

About the lesson

I have a 2:1 in a History degree obtained in 2018 and attained a Merit in a Masters in Law in 2021. I also achieved AAC at A-level History, Psychology and English Literature. I am a multidisciplinary essay writing tutor, offering guidance with * Proofreading and helping with grammar, spelling and punctuation * Researching and finding & using references * Writing in an academic manner that goes in line with what is required within the student's mark scheme * Editing the work to a high standard * Writing detailed feedback * Checking references and the overall work of the essay During lessons I would take the student's work and do all the points labelled above. I will take notes of the student's strengths and weaknesses, and write them detailed feedback on the work in relation to the student's mark scheme and see how they could improve on their work. I also in some circumstances will make edits but this will be done separately from the work in a different colour which gives the student the option of including my edit into their work or not as I do not alter the work without consent. I also want the student to be aware of the edit and understand why it's been made. Next, once I have given feedback and the student wants to work on their weaknesses highlighted within the work, I arrange a Zoom meeting and we discuss it including the feedback overall. In the Zoom meeting, I will have PowerPoints and a number of activities that will cater to the need of the student and help them with the particular areas of weakness. As a previous history and law student, I also provide one-on-one lessons which help towards exam revision within these subjects. I will work on revision strategies, how to make sure they meet the mark scheme criteria. I will use planned activities, and PowerPoints to get this point across and will continue to work with the student until they are 100% confident.
