About Onyinye
Hello! I'm an experienced and passionate history teacher with a strong track record of helping students succeed at both GCSE and A-Level. I’ve spent several years in the classroom, and now I bring that expertise to one-on-one tutoring — where I can tailor lessons to meet each student’s needs. Before diving into lessons: Ask about their interests, hobbies, or what they enjoy most (even outside school). Understand their academic goals, challenges, and how they feel about the subject. Build rapport — students are more likely to engage when they feel respected and understood. Personalise the Learning Style Not every student learns the same way: Visual learners → diagrams, mind maps, and colour-coded notes. Auditory learners → discussion-based learning, verbal walkthroughs. Kinesthetic learners → interactive exercises, real-world applications, hands-on problem-solving. Include frequent check-ins: “Does this approach work for you? What would make this easier to understand?”
