About Max
Coding is my passion. I trained at an internationally respected bootcamp - Markers Academy which is renowned for producing quality engineers.
I want to give back and help others to develop and have the opportunity I've had in the tech industry.
I joined our Culture Mile Learning Mentoring Programme in 2021 and supported a young adult for a period of several months. The reference is as follows:

As a Technical Lead I work a lot with less experienced engineers helping them develop and understand programming principles. I have a record of setting out learning objectives and coaching others to improve as programmers and I can help you develop as a programmer as well.
In my first lesson I like to get a common understanding with my student of what we want to achieve and what’s most important to them to learn. After that we can work together to achieve those learning goals and set new ones along the way.
I am able to work well with students who are inexperienced or struggling to understand key programming concepts. I am patient, positive in my communication and can especially help those who want to improve as a programmer either at an educational level or those who want to improve with a view to changing their career.

I was looking for a tutor as my original tutor let me down and Max stepped in at short notice.
He gave me masses of confidence in tackling problems that were really tricky for me initially. He worked with me to put together a course of lessons that taught me the basics quickly and allowed me to get my head round some basic principles and also getting to grips with some specifics of JavaScript.
We kept in touch during and after my bootcamp and he helped throughout with technical questions and with career advice after.
