About Maya
I am currently working in Statistics with a strong academic record of a 1st class BCs hons in Mathematics and Economics (awarded 2017) and a distinction in MSc Statistics (awarded 2018).
During my maths degree I also helped a wide rage of students (from different academic backgrounds, studying a range of maths related subjects) at a drop-in session where they could get help with maths and related subject questions.

I am a caring and patient tutor who can help students by aiming to understand exactly what part of maths they struggle with and why and build confidence so they can have the right tools to tackle harder questions. I have also demonstrated I have the required self-motivation and determination myself to do well as I have been awarded maths prizes during school and university and can help other students reach their potential.
